THE SHORT VERSION
- Check your exact product and the relevant leaflet section.
- More than one missed injection or a longer interruption needs a prescriber discussion.
Check the pack before applying a rule
For an injection, record when it was due and when the last injection actually happened. For a tablet, use the tablet leaflet's missed-treatment section. An injection rule does not apply to tablets.
Follow the instructions supplied with your product. If the timing is unclear, call the pharmacist with the pack in front of you. Do not add extra treatment to compensate for uncertainty or copy a schedule from a forum.
Agree the next treatment date
Contact the prescriber if you have missed more than one injection, stopped because of side effects or had a longer break. Ask whether your existing instructions still apply. Mention any other weight-management medicine used during the gap.
Once the plan is clear, write down the next date and arrange supplies in time. A delivery problem and a treatment decision are separate issues: ask the pharmacy about the parcel and the clinical team about your prescription. Seek prompt medical advice if you may have used too much.
